Expresses profound solidarity with them; Greets them on Navratri

Srinagar, Oct 10 (KNS): On the directions of Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, Party’s Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi on Sunday visited Kashmiri Pandit brethren at Sheikhpora Transit Camp.

In a statement issued to KNS, Andrabi said that Apni Party unreservedly condemns the innocent civilian killings and stands in solidarity with the minorities.

“Our Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has unequivocally asserted that the nefarious designs which aim to disturb the centuries old communal harmony will never be allowed to succeed. Kashmir has and will always remain an epitome of brotherhood and pluralism,” he said.

Andrabi said that the recent spate of civilian killings is extremely abominable and we demand that the government must deliver justice to the bereaved families in particular.

He also emphasised that Apni Party remains in firm solidarity with them and together the people of Jammu and Kashmir can overcome these divisive forces who wish to sow seeds of discord between brothers.

“I also greet my Kashmiri Pandit brothers and sister on the occasion of Navratri as I strongly hope that this auspicious occasion will usher in a new era of peace, brotherhood and tranquillity in the whole country especially our grief stricken valley wherein many innocent souls lost their lives recently,” he remarked.
