Kupwara March 31 (KNS): A simple yet heartfelt farewell function was held at Government Primary School Panditpira in the Langate education zone of Kupwara district on Monday to honor Abdul Hameed Rather on his retirement from service.

Abdul Hameed Rather retired on March 31, 2026, after completing 27 years of dedicated service in the education sector. The school staff organized the event to express gratitude and respect for his long and committed career.

Teachers and staff members spoke warmly about his work. They highlighted his discipline, punctuality, and strong sense of responsibility.
