Srinagar March 14:(KNS) Families of J&K Students, who were evacuated from war-torn Ukraine and reached back to their home on monday expressed their gratitude to Student Leader and National Spokesperson of J&K Students Association Nasir Khuehami for facilitating evacuation of their wards from UKRAINE, safely to India. "We were anxious, frightened and scared and requested him to evacuate our sons at an earliest & finally it was made possible after he take matter witn Govt of India, said a family member", said a parent.
Families expressed gratitude to Khuehami for his personal intervention and efforts for taking up the matter of their wards, who were stranded there due to on going crisis between Ukraine and Russia, with J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Ministry of External Affairs and Indian Embassy in Ukraine.
They said, Student Leader paid his valuable attention towards all Jammu Kashmir students in Coordinating and evacuating them back to India. He took the matter with Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governors' office from the very first day and provided them details of all stranded students and later they coordinated with External Affairs Ministry and Prime Minister's Office. The J&K Govt immediately intervened in it and resolved the matter at the earliest possible time.
We express gratitude and Sincere thanks to Nasir Khuehami for considering students' demand as first priority and taking it to External Affairs Ministry and Indian Embassy in evacuating 140 students back to Jammu and Kashmir. Pertinently, All J&K students have reached back to kashmir safely and healthy. Students received free boarding, lodging & transport to their homes through J&K Government after Khuehami took up matter with J&K Lieutenant Governor's office.
Khuehami said he has been flooded by calls of love, gratitude, prayers & warmth from guardians of many Jammu and Kashmir students who returned safely from Ukraine, primarily because of tireless & true efforts of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India Office of LG, J&K India in Ukraine (Embassy of India, Ukraine) in which our entire team acted as facilitators.
He said, I am Humbled by their words & feeling satisfied at heart, seeing them reunited with their loved ones. My deepest sense of respect, love & best wishes to one & all of them. I pledge to continue serve my people (particularly students) trespassing boundaries of region, religion or gender. Your love & support means a lot. Without out collaborative effort, this bloom of happiness around wouldn't have been possible, Khuehami added further.(KNS)
