Jammu, Mar 9 (KNS) ; Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday directed officials to ensure a reliable power supply and promptly address public grievances to strengthen service delivery for the people.
Chairing a review meeting of the Power Development Department (PDD) at the Civil Secretariat here, the Chief Minister assessed measures aimed at providing relief to the public.
"The chief minister emphasized the need for a robust mechanism to address consumer complaints and ensure that the gains of the power sector reach the last mile," an official said.
The meeting comes amid public concerns over power infrastructure and supply ahead of the summer season, officials added. (KNS)
