Srinagar, June 14 (KNS): An encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Mishipora area of Kulgam district on Tuesday.
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Mishipora Kulgam.
He said that as the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, leading to an encounter.
The official added that police and security forces were on job and further details will be shared accordingly.(KNS)
