Srinagar, Nov 17 (KNS): An encounter broke out between militants and security forces in south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Wednesday evening, police said here. 

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the encounter broke out in Pombay area of Kulgam this evening. 

He said that firing was going on the area, while further details will be shared accordingly. (KNS)
