Sopore, Apr 24 (KNS) : Emaan Welfare Trust, Sopore based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) whose mission is to serve the people especially of it's own township initially. 
 
Emaan Welfare Trust is being run by a 23-year-old Nayeem Ahmed, a medical student with four of his friends in his neighborhood. Registered under the Indian Trusts Act 1882, the organization is being aided/funded by the privileged class who examine their hard work for contributing to humanity, donate to their official bank account of the trust.. 
 
The trust has financed underprivileged couples for marriage and has been providing financial assistance to the unemployed youths to start their own business in order to become economically independent. 
 
Providing essential kits to the underprivileged class in their surroundings were their routine but they have been doing extraordinary these days by serving food kits at different locations across the town especially in Hospitals at 'Iftaar time' - the time when Muslims across the globe breaks their fast 
 
Though there are number of NGOs, but less are serving on the ground. There is a need for welfare organizations who will help the people at the bottom, not only with cash but with kindness and support, said Nayeem while advising youth, privileged class to make all possible efforts to help the needy. . 
 
"I have been doing this on individual level since past four years. It's not necessary to be with any organization to help the needy, helping the needy ones is our fundamental obligation", he said. 
 
Alike the name of the organisation contains Faith in it, the NGO believes that "With Faith - Welfare is possible." In future, they aim to open an orphanage for children with a priority to educate them and other deprived communities.(KNS)
