Bandipora, Nov 06 (KNS): The chief election commissioner for Bandipora contractors association on Saturday issued to notification for the conduct of election of executive body of the association.
As per a notification, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Service (KNS) CEC Bandipora contractors association said that he had received a detailed resolution on November 03 from the members of the contractors association Bandipora, whereby he has been authorised and appointed as chief election commissioner along with four members of the association namely Farooq Ahmad Khan, Mohammad Amin Dar, Mohammad Saleem Bhat and Ali Mohammad Ganai to conduct the election of the executive body of contractors association.
Notably, advocate Abdul Rashid Khan has been appointed as the chief election commissioner of the association to issued notification and conduct the election of the association.
“Therefore by virtue of this notification, nomination forms for the office bearers of the executive body are invited from the aspiring candidates for the posts of president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer,” reads the notification.
As per the notification he candidate must be the member of the Contractor Association Bandipora and must be the contractor (card holder) having renewed contractors registration card (2021-22).
“The aspiring candidates shall approach the office of the undersigned situated at R&B Division Bandipora (Contractors Association office) for collection and submission of nomination forms for the said posts,” it reads.
It reads that further the valid card holders who have not yet been the members of the contractors association may approach the election body for their membership along with the relevant documents by or before November 17.
“The last date for submission of nominations forms posts shall be November 20, scrutiny will be done on November 22 and withdrawal for the same shall be by or before November 25,” it reads.
The notification further reads that the date for the polling will be notified separately. (KNS)
