Srinagar July 20:(KNS) The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Ghulam Ahmad Mir on Tuesday felicitated people of the country especially Jammu & Kashmir on the eve of Eid Ul Adha.

In his message, JKPCC President has said Eid Ul Adha is a very sacred occasion, honouring the willingness of Prophet Abraham (AS) who, when asked by Allah to sacrifice a thing dear to him, and he readily agreed to sacrifice his son Ismail.

On the eve of Eid Ul Adha I sincerely wish people prosperity, good health and long life and hope that the occasion will be the harbinger of complete peace and stability in J&K,Mir said

JKPCC President also urged the people to celebrate the occasion with austerity and take care of orphans, destitute and those who have no means of income to feed their families.

Celebrating Eid with simplicity and helping each other especially poor people is the essence and true message of Eid Ul Adha Mir added and wished people a very happy and prosperous Eid.(KNS)
