Eid prayers likely to be held in Srinagar Eidgah this year: Darakhshan Andrabi

Srinagar, April 04 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board chairperson Darakhshan Andrabi on Tuesday said that congregational Eid prayers are likely to be held in Srinagar Eidgah if weather conditions remain favourable. 


Speaking to media persons, she said that Eid prayers have not taken place in the Eidgah for the last 3 years due to concerns about potential law and order situations.

She visited the Eidgah today to review preparations for the prayers.

Andrabi also said that Eidgah will be developed and improved with better facilities. (KNS)
