“Said, Students Are Our Priority”: DSEK Also Reviews Infrastructure and Examination Centres
Srinagar, Nov 27 (KNS) : Director School Education Kashmir, Naseer Ahmad Wani, today undertook an extensive tour of Baramulla and Kupwara districts to review academic activities, interact with students and teachers, and assess infrastructural and examination arrangements in government schools.
During the visit, Wani attended classroom teaching in various schools. At Higher Secondary School Drugmullah, Kupwara, the Director entered directly into a Class 9th classroom, sat alongside students, and observed the teaching process first-hand. He actively interacted with the students and the concerned teacher during the lecture and asked one of the student, Abraar Asaf S/O Muhammad Asaf Khan R/O Shadipora Drugmullah to express what he learned during the class.

While interacting with teachers and students during the visit, Wani emphasised that students remain the central focus of the department. He stressed the need for greater attention towards foundational education in lower classes, stating that “if the base of any building is strong, the structure will automatically be strong.”
In continuation of the tour, the Director also inspected ongoing examination centres. During his visit to the Examination Centre at Boys Higher Secondary School, Sopore, he conducted a detailed inspection of the school premises and reviewed basic infrastructure and facilities to ensure smooth conduct of examinations.
The visit reflects the Directorate’s continued commitment to strengthening classroom teaching, improving learning outcomes, and ensuring quality infrastructure in all the schools across Kashmir division.(KNS)
