Srinagar, Oct 17 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Sunday visited Tarzoo, Sopore to express sympathies and condolences with Party's Member of Parliament Muhammad Akbar Lone on the demise of his sister, who passed away the other day after brief illness.

On the occasion, Dr Farooq expressed sympathies with the bereaved family, particularly with Lone Sahib in their hour of grief and loss.

Joined in by party functionaries, he also offered Fateha for the deceased and prayed for peace to the departed soul in the highest echelons of Jannat. Sharing in the grief of bereaved he prayed for fortitude to them at this difficult time and also expressed unison with them.

Party President was accompanied by General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Senior leader Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, MP Anantnag Hasnain Masoodi, Zone Presidents Ali Muhammad Dar, Political Advisor to VP Tanvir Sadiq, Political Advisor to President Mushtaq Ahmed Guroo, District Presidents Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar, GR Naaz, GH Rahi, Advocate Neelofar Masood, Mir GM Saqi. Later South Zone president Dr Bashir Veeri and Showkat Hussain Ganaie also visited the bereaved family at Tarzoo Sopore and offered condolences with them.

Later Dr Farooq Abdullah visited Nigeen, Hazratbal and expressed sympathies and condolences with Party functionary Muhammad Sidiq Dar on the passing away of his father. Party President offered Fatiha for the deceased and much needed fortitude to the bereaved, particularly Muhammad Sidiq Dar to bear the inconsolable loss. Among others Tanvir Sadiq, Senior Provincial Vice President Muhammad Syed Akhoon, Block President Ghulam Mohiudin and other local unit functionaries accompanied him on his visit. (KNS)
