Srinagar May 23 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President and MP from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah on Monday attended the Rasm-e-Qul and Chaharum observance of the grandmother of the political Advisor to the party President Mushtaq Guroo.
Joined in by number of party's parent body, YNC and other local unit functionaries, he offered Fateha for the deceased and prayed for peace to the departed soul in the highest echelons of the Jannat. Among others party's YNC President Salman Ali Sagar, Provincial VP Syed Tauqeer Ahmed, Dy. Political Advisor to VP Mudassar Shahmiri were also present on the occasion.
Interacting with the people on the occasion, Dr Farooq Abdullah highlighted the inevitability of death and the need of flaming God consciousness among ourselves. (KNS)
