Srinagar April 01 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have expressed profound anguish over the fatal accident at Tarawali Bufliaz area of Surankote Poonch in which nine people died and four others sustained injuries after a passenger vehicle they were travelling in fell into a 300-ft gorge. 

While expressing sorrow over losses of lives and injuries to several others in the accident, the duo prayed for peace to the departed souls and fortitude to the bereaved families. They also prayed for speedy recovery to all the injured and impressed upon the divisional administration Jammu to ensure reach out to the affected families with relief and adequate ex-gratia. 

Meanwhile party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Addl General Secratary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Provincial President Ratan Lal Gupta, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, deputy Chief Spokesperson Gagan Baghat, Senior leader Javed Rana, YNC Provincial President Jammu Aijaz Jan have also expressed grief over the loss of precious lives and prayed for speedy recovery to all those who have sustained injuries.
