Calls it a first step towards reclaiming country’s democracy, secularism, spirit of federalism

Srinagar August 11 (KNS) : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah and vice president Omar Abdullah on Wednesday extended greetings to Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar  and Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejaswi Yadav for taking oath as Chief Minister and deputy Chief Minister of Bihar respectively. 

In his greetings message, Dr Farooq said that it is the first step towards reclaiming the country’s democracy, secularism, and the spirit of federalism. “I am sure that Bihar under the conscious leadership of Nitish Ji and Tejaswi Ji will continue to accelerate on the front of development and growth. I wish them all the best for their term in the office. I'm sure they will serve the people of Bihar with much greater enthusiasm and dedication,” he said.

Omar Abdullah in his message said, “I congratulate Nitish Kumar ji and Tejaswi Yadav ji. I’m sure the people of Bihar will benefit greatly from the resumption of this natural partnership.”(KNS)
