Expresses condolences and sympathies with Mir GR Naaz on demise of his younger brother

Srinagar, Oct 30 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have expressed grief over the demise of Dr Syed Zahoor Geelani, father-in-law of Kashmir Despatch Editor-in-Chief Syed Basharat.

While expressing sympathies with the bereaved family, the duo prayed for peace to the departed and strength to bereaved to bear the loss.

Meanwhile the president and Vice President have expressed profound sympathies with District president Bandipure Mir Ghulam Rasool Naaz on the sad demise of his younger brother. While sharing in grief of bereaved, particularly Naaz sahib, the duo prayed for peace to departed and fortitude to bereaved to bear the inconsolable loss.

Party President Dr Farooq, General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar and Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani have also conveyed their condolences and sympathies with Naaz sahib on telephonically. Meanwhile Party senior leaders Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Mohammad Shafi Uri, MP Baramulla Mohammad Akbar Lone, Zone Presidents Javed Ahmed Dar, Ali Mohd Dar, Dr Bashir Veeri, Mir Saifullah, District Presidents Qaisar Jamsheed Lone, Dr Sajad Shafi Uri and other party functionaries have expressed sympathies and condolences with the bereaved family, particularly Naaz sahib.

Meantime Party’s Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, and YNC provincial President, Kashmir Salman Ali Sagar, Social Media Incharge Sarah Hayat Shah visited Poonch Haveli to condole with YNC Provincial President Jammu Ajaz Jan on the demise of his two nieces, who had died in a tragic road accident. The visiting functionaries expressed sympathies with the bereaved and offered Fatiha for the deceased. They also expressed unison with the bereaved Jan and Qazi families. (KNS)
