Srinagar, 30 January (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President, Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Mr. Omar Abdullah on Saturday expressed profound grief over the demise of the mother of NDTV’s Srinagar Bureau Chief Nazir Masoodi.

 

In a statemeent issued to KNS, Party President and Vice President have expressed sympathies with the bereaved family in particular Nazir Masoodi. While expressing their unison with Masoodi in his hour of grief, the duo prayed for eternal repose to the deceased in the highest echelons of Jannah.

 

The Party resident and Vice President also condoled the demise of father of noted journalist and Kashmir Life Editor Masood Hussain. The duo expressed sympathies with the bereaved and prayed for forbearance of the bereaved family in particular Masood Sahib in their hour of grief.

 

Among others Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Party MPs Muhammad Akbar Lone, and Hasnain Masoodi, and Spokesperson Imran Nabi have also expressed sympathies with Nazir Masoodi and Masood Hussain in their hour of grief, and prayed for much needed strength to them to bear the inconsolable loss of theirs.
