Srinagar July 27 (KNS):   The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah on Wednesday expressed profound grief over the demise of renowned Physician Dr. Mir Mohammad Ishaq of Monghall Anantnag. 

In their condolence message, the duo prayed for peace to the departed soul and fortitude to the bereaved to bear the inconsolable loss. They said the deceased will be remembered for being a dedicated, thoughtful, and compassionate doctor. 
District President Kulgam Abdul Majeed Larmi visited the bereaved household to extend deepest condolences and sympathies to them on behalf of the party leadership. Joined in by party's local unit functionaries, he offered Fatiha for the deceased as well. 

Among others General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, Senior leader Sakina Itoo, Zone President Dr. Bashir Ahmed Veeri, State spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, District President Altaf Ahmed Wani have also expressed profound sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal repose to the departed soul in the highest echelons of the Jannat. 

Meanwhile Dr Farooq, Omar Abdullah have also expressed grief over the demise of party's veteran functionaries Abdul Ghani Reshi and Muhammad Jamal Rather of Khimber and chatarhama respectively. 


In their message, the duo prayed for peace to the departed souls in the highest echelons of the Jannat and much needed strength to the bereaved to bear the inconsolable loss. Meanwhile a delegation of party functionaries led by District President Peer Afaq Ahmed visited both the bereaved households to share in their grief. The visiting delegation offered Fatiha for the departed souls and extended sympathies to bereaved families on behalf of Dr Farooq and Omar Abdullah.  

Among others Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq,  Provincial Vice President Kashmir Ahsan Pardesi have also condoled with the bereaved households and prayed for peace to the departed souls.
