Urges swift relief, compensation, and rehabilitation measures for traders affected by the devastating fire
Srinagar, 12 Nov (KNS) : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah has expressed anguish over the devastating fire incident that broke out in the Gowari Market area of Bhalessa, Doda, which rapidly engulfed seven shops, two commercial complexes, and several other business establishments, causing extensive damage to property and livelihood.
He said the tragic incident has dealt a severe blow to the local business community, many of whom depend entirely on these establishments for their daily sustenance. “My heart goes out to all those shopkeepers and traders who have suffered unimaginable losses in this unfortunate blaze. He urged the district administration Doda to immediately assess the damages, provide adequate compensation and relief to the affected shop owners and extend all possible assistance in rebuilding their establishments. He also called for a thorough investigation into the cause of the fire to prevent such incidents in the future.
