Dr. Farooq, Omar Abdullah express grief over the loss of eight people in Uri road accident

Srinagar Jan 31 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have expressed profound grief over the death of eight people and injuries to many others in a tragic road accident in Boniyar, Uri. 

They prayed for peace to the departed souls and fortitude to the grief-stricken families. They also impressed upon the civil administration to expedite the ongoing relief and rescue operation. 

Partys senior leader Mohammad Shafi Uri and Dr Sajjad Shafi while expressing grief over the tragic accident said, "We extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and pray for the swift recovery of the injured."

Among others Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Addl General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani Sogami, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, Political Advisor to President Mushtaq Guroo, Political Advisor to VP Mudassar Shahmiri, North Zone President Javed Dar have also extended heartfelt condolences with the bereaved households and prayed for complete and swift recovery of all the Injured.
