Div com visits Anantnag, reviews election preparedness

Anantnag Nov 21 (KNS): Divisional commissioner of Kashmir Pandorang pole, visited south Kashmir's Anantnag District to take review of the upcoming DDC Elections.

Talking to reporters,pole said that elections are going to be held in phases and about 27 to 28 hundred employees are required for each phase. About three blocks are coming up in each phase and out of 27 to 28 hundred employees of all the three cases have been trained so far. Every employee will have to work in at least two phases and even somewhere he will have to perform duties in three phases.

"As far as security and other things are concerned, we are keeping it strong. The agencies that are there are looking for free and fair elections and as far as winter is concerned, keeping that in mind, Preparations have been made so that the voters can easily cast their votes,he said.

While being asked about the eviction of nomads in pehalgam, he said that,The Forest Department gives them an authority letter to live in the forest and their occupation and use is not illegal.on the basis of an authority? It is considered as an administration and there is no difficulty in it(KNS).
