Director RDD admits shortage of manpower including BDOs

Srinagar, July 14(KNS): Director Rural Development Kashmir, Tariq Ahmad Zargar Wednesday admitted that there is a severe shortage of manpower including BDOs in the RDD department of Kashmir. 

Talking to Kashmir news service (KNS), here at Varinag the RDD director Tariq Ahmad said that there is a severe shortage of manpower in the RDD department even though he has already informed the government about it.

"We also expect that our department will not be short of manpower in the future as newly recruited BDO's are still undergoing training but the government has also instructed them to stay connected with the department, " he said. 

He said that the department has also referred 444 Secretary Panchayat posts of kashmir division to service selection board for their recruitment that will alleviate the shortage of manpower in our department to some extent. 

The director also reviewed progress on various development schemes including centrally sponsored schemes being implemented by the Rural Development Department at Varinag.(KNS)
