Srinagar July 20 (KNS): Apni Party’s Senior Leader and its Parliamentary Affairs Committee Chairman, Mohammad Dilawar Mir, on Thursday, expressed deep concern over the lingering Compassionate Appointments under SRO-43 in various departments including J&K Police Department in Jammu and Kashmir. 

He said that hundreds of SRO-43 cases have been pending for more than a couple of years, and the aspirants are suffering due to the long delay in the disposal of their applications.

In his statement issued here today, Mohammad Dilawar Mir said, "It is deeply concerning that numerous SRO-43 cases in various departments have been languishing, awaiting the issuance of the Government order for compensatory appointments. The applicants are suffering as their cases remain unprocessed, leaving them in uncertainty regarding the fate of their applications."

He urged the administration to promptly undertake the necessary initiatives to expedite the processing of these cases, thereby enabling the aspirants to rightfully obtain their entitlements.

He said, "I request the LG administration to look into the matter and ensure swift disposal of pending SRO-43 cases so that the concerned individuals and their families do not suffer any further."(KNS)
