DHSK visits district hospital Budgam

Srinagar, June 25:

 

Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather on Friday visited District Hospital Budgam and reviewed the healthcare facilities at the hospital.

 

A spokesperson of Directorate of Health Services Kashmir said the director visited District Hospital Budgam in order to review the healthcare facilities being provided for the patients

The aim of the visit was to inspect the hospital’s dialysis unit

During the visit, the director was apprised by the Medical Superintendent District Hospital Budgam that the dialysis unit is almost complete and It would be started from Monday or Tuesday.

The director instructed the Medical Superintendent to expedite the work on the dialysis unit.

The director also reviewed the arrangement for the possible third Covid-19 wave. DHSK directed for the creation of an Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and other logistics for the possible third wave.

He also instructed for creation of a High Dependency Unit ward in the hospital at the earliest.

The director said that whatever requirements are needed the concerned officials should ask the department for the same.

The director visited all the sections of the hospitals to review the healthcare facilities.(KNS)
