Srinagar May 02:(KNS) Director General Horticulture Aijaz Ahmed Bhat (JKAS) extended warm greetings to the people of J&K and particularly the farmers of the valley on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. In a felicitation message, He while extending his greetings said people must make efforts to share their joys with the poor and weaker sections in our society.
He further added that the spirit of Eid is that we must give up the selfishness and take care of unprivileged section of the society and the teaching of such festivals must long last in our lives.
In his message, the Director General urged farming community to work hard for the well-being of society, UT and the country. He prayed that may this Eid turn as the harbinger of peace, prosperity, and development in the J&K UT. He further added that Eid is an occasion to rededicate ourselves to the service of humanity and to improve the lives of the people in need.(KNS)
