Srinagar May 02:(KNS) A condolence meeting was today held under Director General Horticulture Kashmir Ajaz Bhat (JKAS) at Directorate of Horticulture Rajbagh, Srinagar to honour the memory of Dr Gazalla Amin, a prominent entrepreneur and former secretary-general of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCC&I) who has left for heavenly abode. Beside Director General other officers and officials also attended the condolence meet.
While expressing grief and shock over the tragic demise, Director General Horticulture and others prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved family. They also prayed for the courage to the bereaved family to bear such a huge and irreparable loss.
Pertinent to mention, being a woman entrepreneur, Dr Gazalla has inspired countless people in Horticulture/Floriculture business and shared a long association with the Department of Horticulture. She also frequently participated in the Departmental programmes and function. DG Horticulture while describing her death said that a void has been created in the pioneering era of women’s progressive entrepreneurship in the valley.
He further added that she was full of ideas and innovations and was passionate to see horticulture sector grow and prosper in Kashmir.(KNS)
