Bandipora 18 May (KNS): In connection to improve the educational infrastructure in the her constituency DDC Member Firdosa Akhtar inaugurated School building constructed at an estimated cost of over Rs.14 lakh by Rural development department here in Kulhama area of Bandipora. Firdosa inspected the newly built building and gave various suggestions for its better functioning.

Lot of efforts are needed to bring education system back on track and streamline it," she said during the inauguration of Government Middle School Kulhama in her constituency. She said there are various schools, where there is either shortage of staff or lack of infrastructure which is hampering education system.

Speaking on the occasion Firdosa said that education sector is always remains on my priority because education is the only medium to achieve any target as set by the person, society as well as nation for overall development of mankind.

The inauguration took place in the presence of BDC Chairman Hari Begum, Block development officer, Panches besides other dignitaries and the general public.

She encouraged the students to study hard, and advised the teachers to carry out their duties with dedication and determination. She also asked them to provide quality education to the students. Firdosa also advised parents to send their children to school regularly. (KNS)
