Udhampur, June 01(KNS): Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today chaired a collectors' meeting for fixation of rates under Compulsory and Private Negotiation Committee (PNC) mode pertaining to District Udhampur. As many as 7 land acquisition cases under Compulsory and 9 under PNC mode were approved.

 In total Acquisition of 215 kanal land was approved for final award and disbursement of Compensation negotiated under PNC acquired for construction of training infrastructure STC BSF Udhampur, Construction of road from Bandhole to Upper Pattangarh under PMGSY, from Champari to Ghantwal under PWD sector ,  from Sarota to Chounthal phase -I under NABARD and Installation of towers of Power Grid Corporation of India limited in different villages.

  It is pertinent to mention here that 16 land acquisition cases were submitted by Spl Collector Defence Udhampur, Collector Land Acquisition (SDM) Chenani and Dudu to the office of District Collector Udhampur, for accord of approval. All cases have been approved by the District Collector.

 Among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Joginder Singh Jasrotia, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Ramnagar Shishir Gupta,  Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rafiq Ahmad Jaral, and other SDMs were present on the occasion.(KNS)
