Pulwama May 02:(KNS) In order to take stock of market situation and to check the prescribed market rates, the Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Baseer ul Haq Choudary along with SSP Pulwama Gh. Jeelani Wani and DySP Hqrs/SHO Pulwama paid extensive visit to Town Pulwama.
During visit they met with the traders association who ensure their full cooperation in quality and proper maintenance of price control in market. Moreover, all stakeholders especially Butchers, Poultry sellers, fruit and vegetable sellers were directed to adhere the Govt. approved rates in letter and spirit and also maintain sanitation and hygiene under Schedule 4 of Food Safety & Standards Act-2006. The District Adminstration Pulwama have also advised the market stake holders that non-compliance of the Govt. circular/orders shall be viewed seriously.
SSP Pulwama assured the district administration that police assistance will be provided to the market checking teams for taking action against the erring shopkeepers/vendors etc. (KNS)
