Special Prayers held for Dr Aziz Hajini

Baramulla Sep, 20 (KNS): Daer-e-Adab Delina Baramulla an oldest literary organisation in collaboration with Idara Yaadgar-e Hussainee Hygam Sopore  held its annual Hussaini Mushaira in North Kashmir's Hygam Sopore area which was attended by a galaxy of poets from across the Kashmir valley.

Mushaira was presided over by renowned poet and writer Professor Mohammad Zaman Azurdah while as Nisar Budgami, Shahnaz Rashid, Fayaz Tilgami and Showkat Ansari were also in the presidium. Mushira begun with the recitation of Quran by Syed Basharat while as Shahnawaz Haigami recited Naatiya Kalaam. In his welcome adress President Daer-e-Adab Delina Baramulla Shahid Delinavi said that due to Covid-19 this event was held after the gap of two years. He further said that Daer-e-Adab Delina will be resuming it's literary activities if Covid-19 gets over. 

On the occasion special prayers were held for Dr Azeez Hajini who left for heavenly abode some days ago in Srinagar. Participants prayed for his eternal peace.

On the occasion poets from different corners of valley paid tributes to Imam Hussain a.s and other Martyrs of Karbala. Poets who took part in the Annual Hussaini Mushaira include Prof. Mohd Zaman Azurda, Shahnaz Rashid , Fayaz Tilgami, Nisar Budgami , Showkat Ansari, Abbas Jowhar, Syed Akhtar Mansoor, Showkat Shahbaz, Nisar Azam, Sagar Sarfaraz, Shair Ali Mashgool, Shahid Delnavi, Zameer Ansari, Ali Mohd Hasrat, Sarwar Hashmi, Rashid Roshan, Abid Ashraf, Hassan Azhar, Saleem yousuf, Gh. Hassan Haqnawaz, Mir Shabir, Riyan Parwana, Jamal Budgami, Yousuf Sameem, Nazir Hussain Hussain, Gh Ali Pamposh, Nazir Ah Nazir, Ibrahim Muntazir, Aabid Ashraf, Mumtaz Gophbali, Aafaq Delnavi, Asadullah Safvi and Iqbal Hyder. President Adbi Markaz Kamraz Mohd Amin Bhat and Zahoor Hygami wre also present in the function.

In his presidential adress Professor Mohammad Zaman Azurdah said that organising this sort of program is a praiseworthy job and organisers deserve appreciation. He emphasised on the need and importance of elegy writing as an important part of the literature. 

Pertinently the event was anchored by Zameer Ansari-advisor Daer-e-Adab Delina while as General Secretary of the organisation Jameel Ansari later on thanked the participants for taking part in the Mushaira.(KNS)
