Handwara, Apr 16 (KNS): A "Dabang" Sarpanch of Shatgund Bala village of Mawer Handwara on Thursday carried a raid in his village and destroyed more than 50 electric heaters and boilers on spot.

Reports reached to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that Sarpanch Shatgund Bala Ayaz Ahmad Shiekh carried a raid along with his ward members and destroyed more than 50 heaters and boilers in the area.

Talking to KNS Ayaz said that the transformer in the village got damaged several times in past few days due to overloading and today he along with ward members took an initiative and destroyed the heaters and made the village load free.

Meanwhile the locals of the area hailed the efforts of the Dabang Sarpanch. (KNS)
