Handwara August 21, (KNS): The Cyber Unit Handwara has achieved significant success in its ongoing efforts to combat financial fraud, freezing /recovered Rs ?1,27000 in two separate online scam cases. ?11000 has been recovered and ?116000 has been freezed

In both cases, the victims were lured by a web links, promising hafty returns. The scam involved convincing the victims to invest money with the promise of high returns. Handwara Police warn citizens to be vigilant against such scams. No legitimate investment scheme offers quick and substantial returns. The public is advised to avoid falling for such fraudulent schemes and to invest wisely.
