Srinagar, March 7 (KNS): In a humanitarian initiative aimed at supporting patients in need of blood, two blood donation camps were organized in collaboration with the blood bank team of SKIMS Medical College and Hospital, Bemina. The camps witnessed enthusiastic participation from CRPF personnel.
The first camp was held on March 6 at the Group Centre of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Humhama. Around 50 CRPF personnel voluntarily donated blood during the camp, reflecting their commitment to serving society beyond the call of duty.
The second blood donation camp was organized on March 7 at the 176 Battalion CRPF camp in Waripora. Similar to the previous day, around 50 CRPF personnel actively participated in the camp and donated blood to help strengthen blood reserves for patients in need.

Both camps were organized in coordination with the blood bank team of SKIMS Medical College and Hospital, Bemina. The medical team, led by Dr. Suhail along with the blood bank staff, ensured the smooth and efficient conduct of the donation drives.
Officials appreciated the participation of CRPF personnel and the efforts of the medical team, stating that such initiatives play a vital role in saving lives and promoting the spirit of social responsibility.
The organizers also encouraged more people to come forward and donate blood regularly to help meet the increasing demand in hospitals. (KNS)
