All preparations regarding central government’s seventh year anniversary under PM Modi have been finalised

Srinagar, May 29: (KNS) Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary (BJP) (organization) Ashok Koul Saturday distributed oxygen concentrators among other Covid19 related material among various NGOs as Helping Hand Foundation, J&K Youth Care Foundation at party headquarters in Srinagar. 

 

“Apart from Oxygen Concentrators, the sanitizers, masks, gloves and other material were also distributed among the NGO’s aiming to reach out people at the ground level and help them out,” he said. 

 

While appreciating the work of the NGOs, Koul distributed the appreciation certificates among the group and stated that the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir is under control. 

 

“Under party’s Covid19 reach out program, BJP is trying to help people and our cadre is working very hard. It is the time to realize the pain and sufferings of people,” he said. 

 

He also worked with the party cadre during the past several months in the entire district and urged them to work with dedication on ground regarding the Covid19 relief work. 

 

“The Central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to complete seven years on May 30. To mark this day, party leadership has decided to carry out a lot of social activities that have to be undertaken on Sunday,” Koul said. 

 

He also stated that in this regard a review meeting with the party's main leaders was held on Friday in which all preparations were reviewed. 

 

“To mark this historic day, we have decided to organize programs including feeding food, fruit among the patients in hospitals, blood donation camps and other related works,” he said. 

 

Koul said the party leadership has also directed ground cadre to distribute masks, sanitizers, immunity kits and ration kits in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. 

 

“The party has decided not to hold any celebrations on the occasion but to dedicate itself to the service of the people. Our workers will spread awareness about vaccines and help the people in these difficult times,” he said. 

 

Koul also appreciated the role of LG Administration Divisional Commissioner Kashmir & Deputy Commissioner Srinagar for opting well planned decisions to combat the  spread of deadly virus in the city. 

 

“Now active cases are also declining each passing day, which means the situation is now under control,” he said. (KNS)
