Covid19 martial arts, brain boosting training camp held at IDPS

Srinagar, Oct 11 (KNS):International Delhi Public School, Srinagar (IDPS) in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Tong iL Moo Do Association (JKTMA) organised the Ist covid 19 martial art training, brain boosting exercise program and martial art competition on Saturday.
The event was sponsored by HATTRICK FOODS was held at International Delhi Public School, Zakura Srinagar.
According to statement issued to KNS reads, Former minister Ghulam Hassan Mir inaugurated the Tong il Moo Do championship and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Development Foundation Bilal Ahmad inaugurated Karate championship.
Vice President Tong iL Moo Do Federation, India Farooq Renzu Shah, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Tong iL Moo Do Association (JKTMA) Showkat Mohammad Chowdhary, its President Tariq Rashid Ghani, Joint Secretary Shabir Hussain, Patron Nazir Makhdoomi and and Secretary General Safina Maqbool were also present on the occasion.
The competition went very smoothly and also all the SOPs were followed strictly regarding COVID 19.
Chairman JKTMA Showkat Mohammad Chowdhary said sports is an important part of children’s life and it develops the overall personality and trains him face the competitive atmosphere in every field of life.
During the championship, future courses of action was discussed on how awareness on COVID-19 and its preventive measures can be taken by the martial arts students.
Players from different districts of the J&K turned up for the event and participated with zeal and zest.(KNS)
