COVID-19 sample collection kiosk set up in Kunzer

Baramulla, June 05 (KNS): Mobile KIOSK Unit Sample Collection facility for Novel Corona virus on Friday have been started at Kunzer in north Kashmir’s under the supervision of BMO Kunzer Dr Rukaya & Nodal Officer Kunzer Dr Irfan.

According to reports, this is the first place in north kashmir where a mobile kiosk has been kick started by PHC Kunzer, for sampling as desired by the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo. It gives extra precautions for technical staff as well as patients while taking samples.

Block Medical Officer Kunzer tolds KNS News the sampling was started today mooringat Kunzer PHC with Mobile KIOSK .

Dr Rukaya said that with the help of Mobile KIOSK ,in future, we will be able to start the sampling in red zone areas, or vulnerable groups and clusters.

She added that today they started a random sampling & their target about 150 samples it should be noted that the people of kunzer and adjoining areas had to go for Tangmarg and Baramulla for tests. Now they will not face the problems for their tests, she said

With this initiative young old pregnant women and shopkeepers of the area came forward to voluntarily for covid tests. At the same time they urged other people to test for Corona as well. But these young people are being praised who helped in red zones area said BMO Kunzer (KNS)
