Appeals people to support Congress for betterment, development

Kupwara March 14 (KNS):  Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Tuesday held a Haath Se Haath Jodo march from Drugmulla to Kupwara and extended an appeal to people to support Congress for betterment, development and various other issues.


Senior Congress leader Mohd Anwar Bhat led the march while Ex. MLC & Senior Leader Ghulam Nabi Monga, PCC Members of the District and prominent workers participated and raised slogans against anti people policies of Modi Govt at Centre.

Congress workers started a march from Drugmulla which culminated at Town Hall Kupwara where Mohd Anwar Bhat addressed the party workers and large number of people and reiterated party’s commitment to continue its serious efforts to strengthen people and fight for their rights which are being snatched by BJP Govt on after another.

Bhat expressed gratitude to people of Drugmulla and Kupwara for their whole-hearted support to Haath Se Haath Jodo march, which is the Congress party Nationwide endeavor to highlight people issues such as economic depression, price hike, rising unemployment and lack of development and press for their resolutions, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Ghulam Nabi Monga stated that after Bharat Jodo Yatra, Haath Se Haath Jodo was  another initiative to reach out to people at village level and seek their support in highlighting the issues they are facing he added and asked the party cadres to work on the ground and highlight issues concerning people at grass roots.
Nazir Ahmad Lone, Irshad Ahmad Ganie, Javed Ahmad Mir, Shabro Hassan, Gh.Hassan Dar, Bashir Ahmad Khan, Dr. Fayaz, Bashir Ahad Mir and various other Party leaders and workers participated in the march.(KNS)
