Terms decision to revoke three farming laws historic victory of farmers, Congress Party

Srinagar, Nov 19 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Friday remembered Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 104th birth anniversary.

The Party also termed the decision to revoke three farming law as the historic victory of agitating farmers and Congress Party under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi.

JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir, who presided over the meeting of Senior Party Leaders and workers at Srinagar Party office Paid floral tributes to Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 104th birth anniversary.

On this occasion Mir paid floral tributes to Former Prime Minister and recalled her selfless services and sacrifices to the Nation.

Addressing the meeting, Ghulam Ahmad Mir said the iron lady Smt.Indira Gandhi shall always be remembered for her vision and leadership qualities, who was  also credited for making the Nation as strong in respect of  defense, economic, education and on various other fronts, while she remained committed to serve and empower all sections of people, equally.

“Gandhi’s valour and vision brought laurels to the Nation, she will always be remembered for her achievements and making the Nation self-reliant and powerful in every respect,” Mir added and said the Nation would continue to remember Smt. Gandhi for her sacrifice’s services and achievements.

Gandhi ensured inclusive development of the Nation in every respect, JKPCC President said.

On this occasion Ghulam Ahmad Mir termed the Centre’s decision to revoke three black farming laws as the history victory of unity of Farmers and Congress party under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, who remained steadfast to support farmers in their fight against these black laws, which were brought to benefit corporates by the Centre Govt.

Mir said Rahul Gandhi has been saying from day one that Centre had to revoke black laws, as that, these were detrimental to the farmers of the country, which would not be acceptable to them (Farmers),saluted the courage of Farmers and also congratulated Rahul Gandhi for his support and fight against black farming laws.

“The decision of the Centre Govt is based on the fact that BJP is sensing worst defeat in the upcoming elections in five states as the public opinion is against BJP for punishing people under the garb of development, which is no-where to be seen,” JKPCC President said.
