Congress holds protest against ED Summons to Rahul Gandhi, Agnipath Scheme

 
Srinagar June 21(KNS):   The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Tuesday slammed ED summoning of Rahul Gandhi, terming it a naked political vendetta against the party leadership.
The Party also criticized the new Army recruitment scheme AGNIPATH and demanded its immediate roll back to secure future of aspiring youth.
 
JKPCC in a meeting of DCC Presidents and Senior leaders presided  over by Party General Secretary Surinder Singh Channi in which Abdul Gani Khan, Mushtaq Ahmad Khanday, Fayaz Ahmad Mir, W.DCC President Mir Ruvais, AICC Member Nissar Ahmad Mundoo,Senior Leaders, PCC Office bearers, Frontal Organizations, Corporators and others participated slammed the frequent ED Summons to Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi.
 
The leaders termed the ED Summons to Gandhi a naked political vendetta against the later,who has exposed the BJPs wrong and anti-people policies. Congress Leaders and workers present in the meeting protested against the BJP Govt at Centre cautioning it about the repercussions of tarnishing the image of Congress leaders by using ED and other Central agencies to settle political scores.
 
They also raised slogans and protested against the new Army recruitment Scheme and blamed the Govt for playing with the emotions and career of lakhs of aspiring youth.
 
Speaking on the occasion PCC General Secretary demanded roll back of Agnipath Scheme and end to unnecessary ED Summons to Rahul Gandhi and asked the Govt to stop defaming the Congress inorder to hide its failures on all fronts.(KNS)
