Srinagar, Jan 02 (KNS): Stating that Singh Sabha Guruduwara (Mahraj Gunj) is in shambles, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) General Surinder Singh Channi demaded it's immediate renovation. 

JKPCC General Secretary Surinder Singh Channi Sunday visited historical Gurduwara in Down Town area of Srinagar and expressed anguish over it's poor condition. 

Channi demanded restoration of Gurduwara and urged the Srinagar Gurduwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) to come forward to restore lost glory of the Gurduwara. He also emphasized the Govt to take effective measures to renovate the Gurduwara. 

On this occasion, PCC General Secretary also interacted with local Muslim community members and appealed them to further strenghthen the bonds of unity and friendship between Sikh and Muslim community.

"I would also urge the Srinagar Adm to assess the renovation requirements concerning Gurduwara and execute the work, on war footing, basis," he said. (KNS)
