Srinagar 12 April (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC)today felicitated people on the auspicious occasion of BAISAKHI, hoping that the occasion will be the harbinger of prosperity & and overall development of the people.
In a Statement the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir has extended felicitations to people on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi to Sikh Brethren of  the Country especially  Jammu and Kashmir, hoping that the occasion will be the harbinger of overall development of J&K and prosperity of the people.
Festivals will continue to edify the mankind about the importance of brotherhood and communal harmony, will continue to unite them, besides teaching them to respect and love each other by leaving aside caste, colour or creed, G.A. Mir said.
JKPCC President described the Baisakhi as a unique festival reflecting the age old tradition of brotherhood, diversity and harmony among different religions and shades living in the country.
I prays and hope that the occasion of Baisakhi will bring the smile on the faces of people, besides leading them at the path of peace and righteousness, Mir said.
