Congress expresses concern over LPG crisis

 Jammu, March 20 (KNS) : Congress has expressed great concern on the emerging LPG crisis in Jammu & Kashmir and urged the GoI to maintain the adequate quota for J&K, as the non-supply of commercial gas has badly hit the people including pilgrims, tourists and others.

 
In a statement JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Mr. Ravinder Sharma has expressed great cocern over the situation that has been emerging on this front and the common people are facing great hardships including domestic gas as fresh booking of cylinder is allowed after 25 days only.
 
Similarly the commercial establishments are facing closure due to nonsupply of commercial LP Gas. Hotels, restaurants, Dhabas, tea stall and all other such establishments have been facing closure.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
 
He said that common people especially pilgrims, tourists and other visitors etc. are facing acute hardships. The Centre Govt’s claims on this front all proving false and hollow. The GoI should maintain adequate quota of LPG to J&K to save people from starvation and hunger, as large number of Commercial and service establishments have been closed .
 
 
 
He demanded adequate quota of LPG supply both domestic and commercial for the pilgrims /tourists destination region of J&K, besides supply of Kerosene Oil and other alternate fuel to deal with the crises. (KNS)
