Srinagar, Dec 23 (KNS): The Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Thursday strongly condemned the Killing of ASI and civilian, terming the incident as mindless and cowardly.

JKPCC has expressed anguish over the killing of ASI Muhammad Ashraf and civilian Rouf Ahmad Khan and condemned the killings in strongest words, while expressing solidarity with bereaved families. 

JKPCC expressed serious concern over the bloodshed, urging the Govt to take effective measures to contain the loss of lives and ensure peaceful atmosphere.

They party also demanded that the perpetrators of the crime be identified and punished.

"Deeply saddened to learn about the killing of ASI and Civilian in Bijbehara and Srinagar last night. I share the grief with the bereaved families and pray for their courage to bear the irreparable loss. I strongly condemn the killings and demand justice to the families. (KNS)
