Congress commemorates 105 birth anniversary of Indira Gandhi

 
Srinagar Nov 19 (KNS):  Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Saturday commemorated 105th birth anniversary of Former Prime Minister Late. Smt.Indira Gandhi at Srinagar Party Office.
 
In an extraordinary function held to commemorate birth anniversary of Smt.Indira Gandhi presided over by Senior Leader Mohd Anwar Bhat Congress Leaders and workers paid floral to former Prime Minister and recalled her great contributions to the inclusive development of India.
 
Speaking on the occasion Mohd Anwar Bhat lauded the valour and selfless services of former Prime Minister to the Nation and said the sacrifices given be her shall always be remembered across the globe. It was Indira Gandhi who contributed greatly in Nation building and gave her blood for the security and integrity of the Nation, Bhat added.
 
Those criticizing Congress Party must learn from the Indian history pre and post independence which is full of sacrifices by Gandhis’ and  also learn how to serve the Nation rather than indulging in misleading politics with regard to India’s development, Mohd Anwar Bhat added and said the Nation will continue to remain indebted to Indira Ji for her sacrifices.
 
Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Monga also spoke on occasion and paid floral tributes to Former Prime Minister on her birth anniversary.(KNS)
