Srinagar, Dec 19 (KNS): Commissioner Secretary Youth Services & Sports and Department of Tourism Saturday paid a surprise visit to Indoor Stadium Polo Ground Srinagar and interacted with the players of volleyball and watched Premier League volleyball match.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the Volleyball players at the occasion thanked Commissioner Secretary for providing Indoor facilities for the first time.
During his visit, he also inspected the regular coaching class of Sports Council in Judo and Taekwondo going on in the Indoor hall. The Athletes of both the martial arts thanked him for his support and also thanks J&K Sports Council for their patronage.
The officer lauded the facilities put in place for the players and also advised officers /coaches that COVID 19 SOP's be adhered strictly as per advisories of Health Department.
Later on he also inspected the ongoing works of Hockey and Rugby fields where artificial turf is lying. (KNS)
