Come forward for Development of sportsmanship Spirit, display your talent: Inam Un Nabi appeals youth

Srinagar, September 21 (KNS): 33rd J&K UT Senior Volleyball Championship organised by Srinagar District Volleyball Association under the aegis of Volleyball Association of J&K in collaboration with J&K Sports Council concluded at Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Stadium on Monday. The championship was inaugurated on Saturday.

In the event 18 Volleyball teams participated in the tournament. The final was played between J&K Police Volleyball Club and Jammu District Volleyball Club in which J&K Police Volleyball Club emerged as winner. Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Aijaz Assad,
Secretary Sports Council Ms Nuzhat Gul, CEO Volleyball Association of Jammu and Kahsmir Mr. Kuldeep Magotra, Prominent Social Activist and National TV Debater Inam Un Nabi besides few International players were present on the occassion. 

While appreciating the efforts of Amir Bhat President of Srinagar Volleyball Association for organising Volleyball Championship,  Inam highlighted the importance of the sports. Inam said that Volleyball has traditionally been a popular game of Kashmir region and is followed passionately by people of all ages across Kashmir Valley.

Inam appealed youth to come forward and participate in suchsports events for physical fitness, development of sportsmanship spirit and display their talent.

On this occasion a momento was also presented to Masroor Hussain Vice President of Srinagar Volleyball Association.
