Srinagar, Dec 27 (KNS): Students of BA 2nd semester, Cluster University Gogjibagh on Saturday evening staged a protest and demanded authorities to revisit its recently declared results wherein many students have been shown absent.
According to KNS Correspondent, several students of BA 2nd semester held a protest in Press Enclave Srinagar here against college authorities for not issuing clear result status.
“We appeared in online mode of examination for annual term 2nd but have been shown absent by college authorities which is sheer injustice with our career”, a protesting student told KNS.
He said authorities conducted our 2nd semester exam in June of the ongoing year via online mode. “I was present in the online mode of examination then but when our results came, unfortunately I have been shown absent in the said paper”, he said.
Other students who too had been shown absent told KNS that they have kept screen shots as proof but authorities are not ready to accept their fault and thus forcing a big chunk of students to sit with backlog students.
They appealed higher authorities to intervene into the matter and ensure justice to the victim students.

Principal Amar Singh College Bashir Ahmad Rather told KNS the college admin has cleared the issue as there were admission of registration numbers repeatedly. "We have cleared the award and sent it forward", he said.
"Students pertaining to Urdu stream shall contact Bemina Degree College for redressal of issues", Rather added.
He also added there were multiple faults either from internet or by students and college authorities, but I have addressed the issues of my college. "All students will be attended and no one would be excluded", he added. (KNS)
