Bandipora 05 Oct, (KNS): Unknown gunmen on Tuesday evening shot dead a civilian in Hajin area of north Kashmir's Bandipora district.

Official sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the civilian identified as Mohammad Shafi alias Sonu of Naidkhai area of Hajin was shot at by unknown gunmen in Shahgund area in the evening.

They said that soon after the incident he was brought to CHC Hajin, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The officials said that Sonu was the president of Sumo stand. (KNS)
