Srinagar, Oct 23 (KNS): General Secretary J&K Congress and senior leader Surinder Singh Channi has expressed deep grief and Sorrow over the demise of three members of a nomads family at Noorpora, Awantipora.

Incident took place today after temporary residential shelter disintegrated under the debris of soil avalanche due to inclement weather.

Channi expressed deep sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family and urged district administration for immediate relief, rehabilitation and medical support to the injured family members.

“May the departed souls rest in peace and i pray for the speedy recovery of the injured members of the family”, Singh added. (KNS)
