Kupwara, Feb 02:(KNS) Chairman District Development Council Kupwara Irfan Panditpori, Cheif Editor Kashmir News Service Mohd Aslam, Member district development council Sogam Nasir Nazir Lone besides several other personalities on Wednesday visited Tilwantpora Lalpora to extend commiserations with bereaved family of Abdul Ahad Ganaie – father of prominent journalist and senior member of news agency Global News Service Jahangir Lolabi.
Chairman DDC Kupwara,Cheif Editor KNS,DDC Sogam Nasir Nazir Lone were accompanied by their subordinates on the eve.The visiting dignitaries extended their heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family especially to Lolabi and invoked the mercy of Almighty Allah to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
Among the others who visited to extend their sympathies with the bereaved family in this hour of need included teacher's forum vice chairman J&K Mohd Imran Khan alongside his teacher's forum body.
Various religious,social and political personalities also visited the family to extend their sympathies with the bereaved family.
Pertinent to mention here that Abdul Ahad Ganaie passed away after prolonged illness on Sunday – January 23, 2022.He was 80.
